About the Campaign

Why Protect Your Neighborhood?

Colorado Springs is growing—and that’s a good thing. But unless we build smart, working families, military veterans, and young professionals won’t have a place to call home in their hometown.

More Homes for Our Heroes

Space Force families, firefighters, police officers, nurses—all need housing options they can afford.

Smart Growth Protects Open Space

440+ acres of parks, trails, and open space planned – better for kids and families, and ecosystems for wildlife.

We’re Water Smart

Karman Line uses surplus renewable water—not the aquifer. Colorado Springs currently has enough excess water to supply 90,000 new homes. This new development would use a fraction of that, using existing supply, rather than draining the aquifer as they would otherwise do if not part of the city system.

Lower Prices Through Competition

More homes = lower prices for everyone, not just developers. Greater supply drives down prices for all, following basic market economics.
